Singer Usher and Tameka Foster called off their wedding over reports that the mother and former manager of the groom was part of the problem, as were major differences in opinion between the couple, reports TMZ.
Usher's ex-manager mother, Jonetta Patton, was against the union, and was only invited to the ceremony at the last minute.
Her disapproval, an unnamed source told People magazine, "is one of the main obstacles."
TMZ also claims matters of taste and style came into play too. Usher allegedly wanted to upscale the event with a catered dinner, while Foster wanted a backyard barbecue.
"They only decided two weeks ago to have a wedding," said an unnamed TMZ source. "They wanted to have it take place before the baby bump started showing."
