Shut Up, Says Judge To Lindsay's Parents

A judge ordered Lindsay Lohan's estranged parents Monday to stop picking on each other in public or in front of their children.

Michael and Dina Lohan, the parents of two other daughters and a son, appeared Monday in Nassau Family Court in Westbury before Judge Stacy Bennett, just days after their most famous child was arrested in Southern California and charged with driving while intoxicated and cocaine possession.

"It's been horrific," Dina Lohan said of the past week. "Unfortunately we're stuck here [in court] and it should be over."

She added that she has been speaking to Lindsay, whose whereabouts are being kept from the media, "every second I can," and "she's doing well."

Michael, however, has not been able to reach his daughter.

"I've been trying and trying to speak to her," he said. "She's suffering from exactly the same thing I've been suffering."

Michael, who has struggled with alcohol addiction, has been living in a faith-based drug treatment center in West Babylon.

Another judge ordered him on Friday to get a job and start paying $500-a-week in child support. Michael said he plans to open a rehabilitation and crisis center at the Southampton Full Gospel Church on Sept. 4.

"I'm going to start making a living again," he said of the endeavor.

The couple have been fighting over visitation rights of their two youngest children -- Aliana, 13, and Dakota, 11. During Monday's hearing, Michael withdrew a motion for Dina to be drug-tested.

The Lohans will be back in court Aug. 10 when a judge may re-evaluate the child support payments.

On Sept. 6, a court-ordered report evaluating who should have access to the children will be presented to Judge Bennett.
